You may qualify for homebound services if you are unable to use the library due to a short or long-term physical limitation or handicap.

Oak Lawn Public Library
Homebound service is a mail delivery or pickup service of library materials for Oak Lawn residents of any age who cannot use the library due to physical disabilities or illnesses.
WHAT KINDS OF MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE?Books in LARGE PRINT or regular size print, and paperbacks. You may request specific authors or titles, or the librarian can select materials for you based on your reading preferences. Materials are limited to items owned by the Oak Lawn Public Library.
WHAT WILL THIS COST ME?There is no charge for homebound service.
HOW OFTEN ARE BOOKS DELIVERED?
Items are mailed in postage-paid envelopes no more than once a month and are limited by the size of the envelopes.
Patrons may also choose to have items pulled for them and picked up by a relative or friend no more than once a month.
